Five College cooperation collection
Abstract
The Mount Holyoke College Five College Cooperation Collection documents collaborative programs and initiatives among five institutions for higher education: Mount Holyoke, Amherst College, Hampshire College, Smith College, and the University of Massachusetts (Amherst campus). Topics discussed in the collection include collaborative efforts of the Five College libraries, the development of the Five College Women's Studies Program, and the creation and activities of the Five College Women's Studies Research Center Research Center based at Mount Holyoke. Most materials date from 1942 to the present and consist of correspondence, reports, studies, programs, newsletters, press releases, newspaper articles, calendars of events, and photographs. There is also an incomplete run of the "Intercollegiate Daily News” published between October 9, 1933-February 6, 1934.
