Content Description
A collection of approximately 9,000 photographs, comprising digital copies of glass plate negatives, film negatives, and prints. Images depict primarily the architecture of Old Havana (La Habana Vieja), Cuba, in the 1980s. Many prints contain engineering notations on the front and back.

Digital copies were produced from 2012-2015 by staff in the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana, and transferred by Jacqueline Hayden, professor emerita of photography at Hampshire on January 28, 2016. Permission to host the images was granted in a Memorandum of Understanding signed by Patricia Rodriguez Aloma, Director of the Plan Maestro, City of Havana, Office of the City Historian.
