This collection contains materials documenting the activities of Kenneth Rosenthal in his role in the planning of Hampshire College from 1966-1971; as the first College Treasurer from 1971-1975; and as Secretary of the College from 1975-1976.

Biographical / Historical
Kenneth Rosenthal was one of the earliest employees of Hampshire College. As Executive Assistant to Charles Longsworth, he was deeply involved in planning the new college. In March 1971, he was appointed College Treasurer, holding that post until the appointment of Allen Torrey in 1975. At that time, Rosenthal became Secretary of the College, a position which he held until leaving the College in 1976.

The papers of Kenneth Rosenthal, the firest treasurer of Hampshire College, who served from 1971 to 1975. Prior to his tenure as treasurer, Rosenthal was instrumental in planning for the College. He served as Secretary of the College from 1975-1976.
