Scope and Contents
Materials created or acquired by the Communications Office at Hampshire College. The collection is arranged into seven series.
Series I: Press includes news clippings that document Hampshire College in the local and national press.
Series II: News Releases includes press releases documenting events and other topics of importance to the Hampshire community.
Series III: Hampshire Newsletters contains publications produced by the Communications Office.
Series IV: General Subject Files contains memos and correspondence on people, events, and other topics of importance to the Hampshire community.
Series V: Radio and Television Press contains recordings from local and national radio and television stations with stories about Hampshire College and interviews with its faculty, staff, and students.
Series VI: Photographic Files contains comprehensive photographic documentation of students, faculty, staff, as well as events, buildings, and grounds. It inclues photographic prints, sides, and negatives.
Seris VII: Faculty/Staff Photographic Files contains portraits of Hampshire College faculty and staff.

The Office of Communications oversees media relations, public relations, branding, graphic design, and publications for Hampshire College. It was known previously as the Office of Public Relations.
