Benner, Lorraine Wineow, 1906-1995; psychologist and college teacher. Mount Holyoke College faculty member, 1951-1972. Educator with the India Women's College Exchange. Papers contain correspondence, travel diaries, biographical information, and photographs primarily focusing on her letters from her former host family in Japan and twelve diaries pertaining to her teaching and traveling experiences. Collection contains material in English and Japanese.

Lydia Fletcher Clark Symes’ diary, composed between October 30, 1833 and April 23, 1834. The diary primarily records lectures delivered by Zilpah Grant and Mary Lyon to the students of Ipswich, and also contains some description of daily life at the seminary.

Bauer, Marion, 1882-1955; Composer. The collection consists of over 50 published and unpublished compositions in a variety of forms including songs with pianoforte accompaniment, sonatinas, fugues and a symphonic poem. Most of the manuscript scores are not duplicated in the published scores.
