Adams Female Academy collection
Adams Female Academy. Founded in Derry, New Hampshire in 1824. Collection contains lists of students, teachers and trustees (1824-1827), letters by the Board of Trustees, compositions written by Mary Lyon's students, student records, historical information, and postcards. Primarily documenting the establishment and early years of the Academy. Also documents early teachers including Zilpah P. Grant Banister and Mary Lyon.

Edwards, Anna Cheney, 1835-1930; teacher. Mount Holyoke Female Seminary graduate, 1859. Mount Holyoke Female Seminary teacher, 1859-1892 and Associate Principal, 1872-1888. Papers consist of travel memorabilia, journals, guidebooks, postcards, clippings, and photographs. Primarily documenting her trips within the United States and abroad and her work at the Seminary.

Papers consist of course records, correspondence, an account book, a brief diary, calendars, freshman hazing material, memorabilia, biographical information and a photograph; pertaining principally to her daily activities and academic studies at Mount Holyoke. Also included are documents describing conditions in Massachusetts and London, England during World War II.

Student and house wife, Mount Holyoke College Graduate 1884 Papers consist of correspondence, compositions, photo and post card albums, memorabilia, newspaper clippings and photographs. Principally documenting her academic work for an English class and her travels in the Caribbean specifically through photographs of the islands of St. Vincent and Martinique after the eruption of Mount Pelee in 1902.
