Allen Family papers
Allen Family. Luella Mary Allen, Winifred Shirley Allen, and their relatives. Collection consists of letters, photographs, and transcriptions of the letters prepared by a descendent. Letters include some written from mid-nineteenth century California mining fields, and many detailing student life at Mount Holyoke College in the late nineteenth and early twentieth century.

Emily Dickinson collection
Dickinson, Emily Elizabeth, 1830-1886; Poet. Mount Holyoke Female Seminary student, 1847-1848. The collection chiefly consists of newspaper clippings, articles, books and published and unpublished papers concerning Dickinson's life and work. Also includes a letter that she wrote while at Mount Holyoke, collections of her poems, and documents relating to the Emily Dickinson International Society, a postage stamp issued in her honor, and films, music, novels, plays and poems about her.

Papers consist of correspondence, coursework, scientific writings, memorabilia, biographical information and a photograph relating chiefly to her years at Mount Holyoke College (1941-1945) and her research into the effect of various drugs on intestinal muscle.
